Bootcamp Partition Not Showing Up

Have you assigned a drive letter for the external drive?.
Does the drive get detected on connecting the same to another PC?You might be facing the above issue due to the unallocated letter for the drive. Unallocated drives are those whose drive letters are not allocated when initially partitioned or after formatting. You will be able to view the drive on your PC if youhave allocated a drive name for the partition created.
Mar 16, 2018 - This partition shows up as “Macintosh HD” under Computer on your. Mac OS X can only read this partition out of the box, not write to it. So why you ask did my Bootcamp disk not show up in “System preferences Startup Disk “? For me it was as simple as my Tuxera NTFS driver had mounted my Bootcamp volume as it had recognised the bootcamp volume (on a mac a disk or partition is refereed to as a volume in case you are wondering why I suddenly changed my wording).
Installed Windows 7 via bootcamp but now when I boot my rMBP, it goes straight into Windows 7 rather than OS X Mavericks. I went into System Preferences Startup Disk to change the boot drive but my Macintosh HD isn't listed.

Anyone know how to fix this to get my OS X HD to appear again?When I press the option key during boot up, Macintosh HD appears and I can boot and use OS X without any issues. I also went into recovery to verify and repair my disk but appearing to the logs, everything is okay. Even tried to change my start up disk in recovery and it only showed bootcamp.
