Euro Truck Simulator 2 Logo
You cant put the logo on your trucks unless you make a skin. It's something i've talked about on here for while now and to be honest the vast majority of people dont care about it. I've even contacted SCS asking them if they will implement a feature, like a decal editor in the paint shop, that will allow you to put your company name and logo on your trucks and i didnt get a response. Given that the aim of the game is to create your own company i would have thought this would have been a standard feature, but SCS and most of the people playing this game stand by skins as the way to do this, which in my opinion is unfair given that not everyone is skilled enough or has enough knowledge with computers to make them. Unfair?Perhaps unfair is the wrong description, after all it is there game and they can as they please, maybe inaccessable to some is a better term.Either way that's a pretty ignorant attitude to have, not everybody is a wizard with photoshop or gimp. And it's not like I, and i'm sure other people, havent tried to learn how to use these programs. The fact is that after many hours of trying i'm just not skilled enough. I could understand your comment if it was a case of me and others just spitting our dummies out after 5 minutes of trying and then demanding that SCS make an additional feature to make things easier for us, but that isnt the case. I have asked others on this forum if they would like to see this feature added and even asked SCS if it was something they would do, but only got minimal interest from the forums and no response from SCS. A: They learned to make skins. Another thing to consider is the fact that not everyone who plays this game is an experienced modder, a lot of them are casual gamers and many dont like to use mods or modify the game because it can be risky. Extracting the games files and finding a template then creating a skin and packing it all back up may be childs play to some, but it can be a pretty daunting prospect to others. And like Ju$tCuz said the company logo's are already in the game, even having only a couple of choices of where to put them in predetermined places on your truck would be better than nothing.

Although they (SCS) created the game, the game is really for the players. We are the ones that invest our money in this, so I think that people should be allowed to have their own ideas and suggestions about what they would like to see and experience in the game, but at the same time not whine about them constantly. No need to act like the video game police.
